France Rejects Al-Qaida Demands for Hostage Release

Looks like France is not scared of Al-qaeda threats on the French hostages seized at a uranium mine in Niger,After rejecting demands by an al-Qaeda group in northern Africa... that it should negotiate the release of five French hostages and two others with Osama Bin Laden.Foreign Minister Michele Alliot-Marie
said France would not let its policy be dictated from outside"France cannot accept that its policy be dictated by anyone outside." Yup she said that!.. I still dont know what that  means..does that mean Al-qaeda has to get into France then make the orders? They had me lost..I bet Al Qaeda's scratching their heads like 'Huh? What just happened? This always works, I dont get it' Spanish government is believed to have paid millions of euros to free two of its nationals seized by AQIM (Al-Qaeda Islamic Maghreb) in Mauritania a while ago sometime in August I think. Either France is being a bit stingy or they have a plan...
In an audio recording believed to have been made by Abdelmalek Droukdel, who uses the alias Abdel Moussab Abdelwadoud, and broadcast by the al-Jazeera satellite network, he says
France should hasten and take your soldiers out of Afghanistan according to a specific timetable that you announce officially.Any form of negotiations on [the hostage] issue in the future will be done with no-one other than our Sheikh Osama bin Laden... and according to his terms.
I just hope this doesnt lead to scenario where they refuse to abide and innocent people get killed.
