Global Fashion Show New York

Global Fashion Show was organized by Fashion Institute of Technology (FIT) and Fashionjunkii to benefit the Bisila Bokoko African Literacy Project  go to BBALP-www.bbalp.org
8 well established designers show cased their collections from different parts of the globe. The designers featured were;
 Maatano who are based in the United states but of Somalia descent, Amparo Chorda from Spain, Louda Collection who is based in New York City but of Russian descent, African Mosaique from South Africa, Thula Sindi from South Africa, David Tlale from South Africa, Nike Kondakis who is based in Kenya but of Greek and Danish descent and Prajje Couture from Haiti but also based in the united states.This fashion show was the first Global Fashion show presented this year with its first recipient;The Bisila Bokoko Africa Literacy Project. Many went to show their suppport.
I was Indeed Very Impressed by the deisgns, colors, patterns, the designers were hot and their stuff was pretty wearable if you ask me.

 crafted from threadbare, All the pieces,garments, hats and scarves are made from ribbons, wool, silk, umbrella fabric, toys and much more. These are handcrafted works ..Some of the pieces that I liked
