I was tweeting las nite when someone tweeted Quality Plaza has just burned down, for some reason i just got furious after googling it and its true!

This is not the first time Major fires are going down and i gotta ask, what in the world are departments doing by the times the damn buildings are in flames!? Arggghhh!
I wrote an article once about Fires in Dar Es Salaam, i wrote it about the time Paradise Resort in Bagamoyo went down in flames, i dint think I'd need to use in the future but i think i rili need to about now...

YOU’RE FIRED!!!
That’s right, you’re fired! Everything is on fire nowadays, homes, offices, schools...you mention it and I’ll bet you it’s been fired! And when I say fired I’m not talking about kicked out of the job, I’m talking about these places burning to ashes.
First things first, how to check if your child is normal, she learns from past mistakes followed by a spanking. An abnormal child doesn’t learn from a mistake followed by a spanking, the child could be mentally challenged and the like...back to my point, in Tanzania, when a fire happens you stop  and think, maybe just maybe...the fire brigades will learn this time but  they seem unable to learn and refuse to learn. Now it doesn’t take a genius to figure out that  fire+ water/carbon dioxide/sand = no fire, but I guess we have to spell this equation out to the fire brigades because they keep showing up at the area of the fire without the water....and I’m thinking, they should’ve just carried popcorn in the fire wagon if they were just going to coming to watch! It’s just really bizarre, in another occasion, they remembered the water but in process of trying to cool down the fire, they ran out of water so they had to go all back and get some more water! But honestly speaking, who gets in a car without his keys, who goes to a white party wearing black, who goes to stop a fire without the water?!!
We pray to God that in the next fire outbreak they don’t go cycling and arrive at the fired destination with bottled water and say they forgot their water truck! Ok, it seems they forget a lot, but just how much do they have on their minds? Fires do not occur every day in Dar es Salaam! But I have a suggestion, whenever we call to report a fire we should remind them to come with, a water truck and the rescue team just in case they get left behind.
Another thing that ticks me off, how is it that the fire brigades are always 2 if not 3 hours late to the destination?! I don’t want to hear anyone blame it on traffic, that just plain deceitful! I mean, it’s just strange how the media get at the fire destination sooner than the fire brigades, we might as well hire the media to cool off the fire with their spit!
The problem is this matter is not even taken seriously!! It’s the same thing day in day out and those guys don’t change.
I think every office should have those fire solutions thingies  smoke detectors and evthang...of all types, they cant guarantee to put off a fire but atleast it will lessen the burden,it will be safer than waiting for the fire truck which just might come the next morning and say your call was one voicemail!
And good Lord, could there please be at least one fire department in every region, it’s quite sad that a fire truck has to go all the way from Dar es salaam to Bagamoyo to stop a fire there and they arrive a while late and the place is all burned down and what’s the use of the fire truck, presence, I’m guessing. Imagine you’re living in Bagamoyo, your office is on fire, you call the Dar es Salaam fire brigade and they show up 4 hours later saying that is really not their fault they had to stop for a potty break somewhere in between Dar and Bagamoyo.
What I think, I think the fire department needs a facelift, a liposuction, breast implants and butt implants if possible because honestly speaking...it doesn’t look good one bit!
It doesn’t make sense, why is this matter being taken so easily, documents have been lost in the fires in Posta, traders have lost their capital, their goods in the grand fire in Mbeya, people have lost their customers, their profit in the fires in Bagamoyo, but why are we still living in risk? Is it still not serious enough to be taken seriously, what more has to burn down so the lesson can really sink in? But you know, the funny thing about Tanzie is for something to be taken seriously it must involve at least one heavy politician’s property so let’s wait for the presidents crib to burn down where the fire truck will arrive 3 hours late and then they will announce that they want to make one of these things called ‘Tume’ to investigate the fire department...shish!!! Let’s all turn to our fire brigades and question them, are fulfilling their tasks to the fullest? Or should we fire them, but let’s not, they might not have water to put the fire out.
But then....could these Dar fires Politically related?
