Are U Feelin Tanzania's Decision to Lift Ban on Raw Gemstone Exports?

These DAr headlines rili did make me glimpse the Tz government's move to lift ban on the export of raw gemstone is extremely dissapointing, lifting of the ban has flattened the country's efforts to export cutting stones as there are plans to establish gemstone auction in Arusha.Though the the Ministry of Minerals and Energy say that it had lifted the on the gemstone whose weight is over one gram up to mid-next year to enable the government create sustainable domestic cutting operations.
Buh i think the jobs of local cutters and polishers will really be affected im jis saying and wont we earn less exporting Gem stones raw?

The move would tarnish the efforts to add value to the blue-violet Tanzanite stone that is only found in Tanzania.
All in all Tanzie does not have enough processing facilities, the ministry reported while, TAMIDA, which is in the process of preparing a gemstone show in Arusha next April, said that the exhibition might not go ahead as planned because there is no point while the stones are still exported raw. I think they're being unfair to the local cutters.

While announcing the ban, Minister for Energy and Minerals Mr William Ngeleja said the move targets improvement of local tanzanite-processing facilities that would provide employment to Tanzanians. Why do we always hear this and never see those so-called employment oppurtunities they're always talking about!?!
