Eritrean nationals in Italy conducted a Festival which was quite lovly as am told,they expressed determination to strength resolute rebuff against all acts of hostility.
Foreign Minister Osman Saleh who gave briefings to the festival participants on the development achievements registered in all domains, especially health, education, infrastructure and achieving food security. He further lauded Eritrean citizens in the Diaspora for their strong denunciation against the vicious US sanctions resolution on Eritrea. Mr. Osman expressed conviction that they would continue the resolute rebuff in an enhanced manner. The festival which was held from July 9 to 11 in Milan included Various programs,community sites, arts and painting exhibitions,cultural shows featured in the course of the event,a number of Eritreans and and many different nationalities took part.
At the closing ceremony, Minster Osman and the Eritrean Ambassador to Italy, Mr. Zemede Tekle, awarded prizes to those national associations and individuals that made special contribution for the success of the Festival, as well as those who demonstrated excellence in various competitions.
It is always very touching when people of the same nationality come together to celebrate and be one. It shows great unity among the people of various nations, Unity is always a good thing.
