Richard Branson Supports Local South African Fashion Brand

The Branson Centre of Entrepreneurship set up by Business man and C.E.O of Virgin group of companies, Richard Branson last week hosted an event at Fashion Kapitol in Johannesburg.This center of entrepreneurship helps mentor small business owners particularly for  the ones seeking funding in one way or another and also helping showcase small entrepreneurs at global level . The event  mainly focused on Lesego Malatsi { MD of Mzansi Design Emporium}, a local designer who has been invited to showcase his Afrocentric designs at the Pan African Film Festival in Los Angeles.

After Lesego showcased his work and other entrepreneurs had completed their exhibitions, the people present at the event were handed pledge forms to support the entrepreneurs in their best possible way. Alongside Mr Richard Branson, also in attendance was Lucas Radebe ( Former Football Player) who pledged to purchase a suit from Lesego’s collection.
