More Love(+ positivity) For Africa

I ran across this Video and its the saddest thing I've ever watched,I cried a bit, the images really strike hard. Basically its saying more love For Africa,we have to change the world and it is comparing the west with random situations in Africa. I understand that it was meant for good intentions basically saying we should appreciate al we have and give more....(thats what i got) sometimes I wish more was done too so we wouldn't have to see this or have people re-live this...and other times I think this is just too much...n  I hate that this is all that comes up people's minds when they think of Africa... I mean regions really have it bad but...damn..pop this on peoples faces all the time whydoncha...  *_*

A stereotypical kind of thinking that sums up Africa like one nation and puts up all these pictures of children hungry and dying and say 'This is Africa'   
A Video I had on a couple of days ago about a young Tanzanian boy was by mamahope organization for their "Stop the Pity. Unlock the Potential." campaign  which is a brilliant idea, it is a campaign to break the negative perception of Africa.
They say on their Page Take the word  AFRICA... 

Without thinking, what images immediately come to mind? 

War? AIDS? Genocide? Or maybe the vision of a small child with a swollen belly, surrounded by flies? … Too many non-profits ask for your pity by depicting poor, helpless Africans.  But like any stereotype, this portrayal has more exceptions than truth. 

Mama Hope feels it is time to re-humanize Africa and look to the positive change that is happening. We’ve had enough of the tragic impressions and abundance of sad, oppressive images that flood media outlets and non-profit campaigns. We want to make the statement that it is time to stop the pity and unlock the potential! 

Through a series of videos Mama Hope wants to show the light of the people we serve in Africa. We aspire to introduce our partner communities to you with the integrity and brilliance that we witness everyday. We want you to see the humor, courage, and potential of a wonderful people and continent.
