Vanessa Williams on Desperate Housewives

So there were whispers before that Vanessa Williams was going to be on the 7th season of Desperate Housewives but u can no longer hold your breath,Desperate Housewives creator Marc Cherry has confirmed that Vanessa Williams will star in the show next season.he said Tuesday she’ll play a “wicked new housewife” on the upcoming seventh season of ABC’s “Desperate Housewives”.I cant Wait, I just loved her on Ugly Betty!! she was incredible!

Cherry has now told TV Guide Magazine that Williams will appear in the programme as a series regular,adding that Williams's character will not be the centre of next season's mystery, explaining that it will focus instead on the show's returning character.

She’s currently performing in the Broadway musical “Sondheim on Sondheim,” which runs through June.
