OWN:The Oprah Winfrey Network

Oprah explains her plan to replace her decade-long talk show with “oprah’ Next Chapter”on OWN: Oprah Winfrey Network from next year. Ms. Winfrey said she will appear twice or thrice on the network in a week. The new show will take its premiere as soon as her current talk show completes in September next year, said sources related with the Discovery Communications and Ms. Winfrey’ Harpo Productions, which support the new channel named OWN: Oprah Winfrey Network. I just love this woman, she's s great business mind, of course she'll get thousands of viewers worldwide, she's Oprah!!

As long as Winfrey is there, the channel owners will have to fear nothing about advertisers and viewers “ want to take what I’e established in daytime, inspiring people and giving them hope —and some cars —and build on that, 24/7, OWN style,”says Winfrey  thats the attitude..... Everybody wants a new car!!! if only all talk show hosts were like her.

Oprah's car Bonanza, everyone got  a car

OWN, a channel expected to replace the Discovery Health Channel next year has been announced two years back. People behind the channel are busy engaged in developing programs and schedules for the new channel. Several other programs are already planned. Shania Twain, a host of Gayle King’ radio show and a series called “isionaries: Inside the Creative Mind”will appear in a reality show on OWN. And Mark Burnett, the creator and producer of “survivor,”is expected to host a reality competition show on OWN. The show is named “our Next Show: Oprah’ Search for the Next TV Star.”

The network is using Ms. Winfrey’s ability to attract high-profile talent. One OWN series, “Visionaries: Inside the Creative Mind,” will highlight pop musician Lady Gaga and movie director James Cameron, among others. Another show, “Master Class,” will feature people like former U.S. Secretary of State Condoleezza Rice and musician Jay-Z relaying life stories and lessons directly into the camera.

Jay-Z, whose real name is Shawn Carter, said Ms. Winfrey asked him to participate during a phone call. “I didn’t even think about it,” Mr. Carter said last month. “I just said ‘yes.’”
