MTV's Sweet Sixteen comes to Africa

Lets be Frank, i hate watching MTV's Super sweet Sixteen, I mean its half an hour of some snobs getting a million dollar party, cars and thousands of people( including famous people) coming to their awesome parties...but well, i watch it anyway! And guess what?! The show that we hate to Love is coming to Africa, okay, I heard MTV producers are looking for Nigerian candidates to star in the first ever global series of My Super Sweet, I can imagine the teenagers are thrilled, the parents must be horrified!

My Super Sweet goes global for the first time, thats right, Nigerians, Kenyans,Tanzanians,Ugandans, Angolans, Boatswains......Make your parents cringe with fear as you ask for a million dollar party to die for! The show is aiming to be bigger and more glamorous than ever, as MTV sets its sights on sassy, edgy party hosts who are planning birthday celebrations all around the world. For this series, MTV has upped the age limit from 16 to 21.

If you’re a snob and  having the birthday party to end all birthday parties this year, or you know someone else who is then MTV wants to know about it…! Shooting will take place during 2010 and the various parties will be shown on MTV channels around the world including Africa on MTV base (DStv Channel 322).

Note that MTV does not fund the My Super Sweet parties but films existing parties funded by consumers and their families.

Some of the most famous sweet 16 parties include, Bow wow,Aly and AJ, Sean Kingston and Quincy.(diddys son) they had loads o VIPS up in their parties....
