I've been blabbing alot about ethical fashion and doing more with fashion, I love to see fashion breaking into making changes not just in fashion worlds. And Vivs is one of the designers doing much more with fashion, the British fashion designer Vivienne Westwood has been working with the United Nations Ethical Fashion Programme to produce bags and accessories in Kenya. The idea behind the initiative is to lift communities out of poverty using environmentally sustainable materials and processes.

Giant statue sighting in Hamburg

Am I the only one who finds this sculpture a bit odd?...I mean,Its a giant sculpture of a woman spreading her legs in the middle of nowhere...And if its a mermaid as everyone is calling it..why does it/she/whatever have legs?
'mermaid' sculpture created by Oliver Voss on Alster lake in Hamburg in the late evening August 3, 2011. The four-metre-high sculpture dubbed "Riesen-Nixe" (grand mermaid) or "Badenixe" (bathing beauty)

Nice Sexy Libya

The Gaddafi's are still not backing down...the country is still at war battle for power, this is a rare interview by David  Kirkpatrick on New York Times on Gaddafi's son Seif al-Islam el-Qaddafi,, who looks all chill and laid back.. he remains defiant. For one... Seif who claims  he's forming a secret alliance w/ Islamists against rebels...just proved to us that he indeed, cannot..keep a secret...however those claims have been denied by those 'Islamists of Libya'
He proceeds and answers the question why everybody isn't intervening  anywhere else but Libya ..not in the middle east or Africa ....why  Libya?...
Because Libya is very sexy, Libya is very nice.... 3:00 Dead!Gaddafi passed on his crazy Genes to his son...Nice sexy Libya

Trésor Brillant:Mystifying Brilliance By Vlisco

And here's the lookbook!.. They just make the material but the designs in the lookbook are meant for inspiration, a pretty way to sell material donchu tink?...I wonder who's the head behind these lovely designs...I would wanna be friends with that guy...

This collection is..
Shimmering radiance creates a vision of pure richness, drawing full attention to a mysterious woman wandering in the night. Gracefully flowing fabrics weave an enigmatic story, determined to uncover where her journey is taking her. Strutting through the dim setting of the colonnade as it merges with a twinkling glow, the diamond-inspired designs take on an almost tangible shine and add the perfect touch of glamour, as she continues towards her destination, where she divinely takes the stage. An overwhelming sense of heroism seizes her the moment she becomes the centre of attention on stage, silhouetted by spotlights illuminating her sophisticated attire of dreamy designs

I loved the Accessories!

Azzedine Alaia Autumn/Winter 2011-12 Paris Fashion Week

After a long hiatus Tunisian designer Azzedine Alaïa  is back to runway! ... she showcasesd her  Autumn Winter2011/12 collection at Paris fashion week. I love the textures ...crocodile, Mongolian fur, felted wool and intricate latticework... The collection was definitely  fresh squeaky clean to me after such a long time of  waiting anticipating for her return...
The new bell shaped silhouette  was a great, a break away from the tight pencils all over Paris fashion week, not that those pencils weren't there in this collection, they were....along with flared skirts.  The colors were deep shades of teal, red, blue, and plum, deep and bold. i especially loved the full-length dresses...they're evening gowns that you'd want to wear on and on... fabulous.
