Miss Jolie here had personally requested the presence of Russian spy Anna Chapman at the film’s Moscow premiere, but she was a no-show.Angie who plays a suspected Russian spy in her new flick, Salt -- asked local promoters to invite the real-life femme fatale because the film’s story parallels Anna’s recently revealed real-life drama.
Moscow promoter Igor Dubinin said they would do anything possible but failed badly. Anna, was deported back to Russia July 8, was untraceable in spite of Dubinin's best efforts to locate her.On the other hand Russian prime minister Vladimir Putin has made the astonishing revelation that he has met up with Anna Chapman and other members of her US-based espionage ring for a bizarre 'spy singalong'.
Putin told local journalists during a visit to the Ukraine yesterday that he met up with the spies to “talk about life” and joined them in a rousing rendition of a popular song from a 1960s film about a Soviet agent working in Nazi Germany.
Putin, however, gave no clues as to where or when he met with the agents.Including Anna Chapman, confirming my suspicion that the 28-year-old businesswoman who became a tabloid sensation thanks to her nude photos and party-going lifestyle is undergoing a lengthy debriefing session at a secret government location.
Chapman and the other defendants pleaded guilty to the charges of sharing United States information to a Russian government official using an electronic means, which were in violation of the Foreign Agent Registration statute. All were deported back to Russia in swap that returned four accused spies back to the United States. As part of her plea agreement, Sadly Ana Chapman reportedly cannot sell her story for profit. Should she or a family member sell the story in the future, according to the deal she must turn over all proceeds to the U.S. government. How sad. I would've been already making movies, photo shoots, worked up my own reality show, signing autographs and Ev'thang!
